Hint 1 |
---|
The words are in a box.
Hint 2 |
---|
There is a total of 18 letters. What numbers can you divided 18 by ?
Solution |
---|
Path #1:
A random jumble of letters on a box hints to the Caesar Box Cipher. Counting up the numbers we get 18, which is divisible by 2, 3, 6, and 9. Trying 2 doesn’t work but 3 gets us:
irukandji jellyfish
Path #2: (2 and 3 didn't work for me, but 6 did*):
Split up the letters on the box into a box the same shape as the Wooden Box, with 6 letters per row:
IKDJLI RAJEYS UNILFH
then reading vertically gets us:
IRUKANDJIJELLYFISH
- * Since 3 x 6 = 18, it's probably 3 for encoding and 6 for decoding.
Which is our answer (also it's a BOX jellyfish!).
