Students,
After yesterday's threat , I spent the evening running through our options. This is without a doubt the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I know that it's the only way.
I can’t risk your lives any longer.
If I have any hope of stopping Endgame, I'll have to do it alone. This will be my last post on Ancient Societies, but I am leaving it live as a memorial of everything we built here. Not to mention, a record of everything Wayland did -- the full horror of which I may never come to terms with.
I just wanted to take one last chance to say how proud I am of all of you. Together we sought the Truth, and thanks to you, I got closer than I ever could have on my own. That’s what makes this so hard.
But this is not a time for sadness, or vengeance. Now is the time to be thankful. Nothing I could say in a blog post could fully express my gratitude to you ... my former Students. But here is a small token of my appreciation to a group I now consider my peers.
